ABC/WSIL3 -Hundreds wait in line to buy legal marijuana

ANNA (WSIL) — Hundreds of people waited in line Wednesday to buy legal marijuana.Thrive dispensary in Anna opened at 10 a.m. and already had hundreds of people waiting outside.

Illinois residents, 21 and older, can now purchase up to 30 grams of marijuana plant material and up to 500 milligrams of edibles with THC. Non-Illinois residents can purchase half of that amount.

Thrive in Harrisburg and The Harbory in Marion also saw hundreds of people waiting in line to purchase legal marijuana. (Credit: ABC/WSIL)
